Geek Tattoos FTW

This is my newest tattoo. Yes, it’s a Star Wars quote. Specifically an excerpt from the speech Yoda gives to Luke in The Empire Strikes Back. 

“Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship.”  

I wanted it on the arm I used to cut. I wanted it near stretch marks. We’re not our bodies, our pasts, or our image. Humans are capable of incredible feats, both sinister and divine. When this quote is taken out of context, it can mean so much. 
Plus, I love me some Star Wars.
